What fateline is
fateline is a web service and product of Momentra Technologies Private Limited (“Momentra”, “we”, “us”) that takes a photo of your palm and returns an AI-generated palm reading, and also offers related digital services such as tarot readings and follow-up questions. It is meant for entertainment and self-reflection only. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. You can reach us anytime at [email protected].
By using our website or services, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of them, you must not use the service. When you register, pay for a reading, or submit material (such as a palm photo), you expressly agree to these terms.
Our website uses cookies; by using the service you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use fateline. By using the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Your account
You sign in either with your phone number (using a one-time code sent by SMS) or with your Google account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for all activity under your account. If you lose access, contact us and we'll help where we can. We may suspend, cancel, or edit account details at our discretion if these terms are violated or if required for security or legal reasons. You may request account closure by emailing us.
Using the service
By using fateline, you agree:
- To upload a photo of your own palm — not someone else's without their permission
- Not to upload anything illegal, offensive, or that infringes on someone else's rights
- Not to attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, data-mine, or disrupt the service
- Not to use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or to transmit malware or other malicious software
- Not to access the site via robots or automated means except for legitimate search-engine indexing
- That information you supply is true, accurate, current, and non-misleading
- That we may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms
Product and service information
We aim to keep descriptions and pricing accurate. We do not guarantee that all information (including availability and pricing) is always complete or current. We may correct errors and update information without prior notice. The service is provided digitally over the internet; continuous availability is not guaranteed.
Payment
Readings and related digital services are paid (unless a valid free coupon applies). The price is shown in your local currency (INR for India, USD for the United States) based on your country at signup, before you pay. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we don't store your card or UPI details. What each reading costs is listed on our Pricing page.
Refunds
Once your reading or paid digital service is generated and delivered, the purchase is final and non-refundable. If our system fails to generate your reading, you can retry from the reading page. If retries fail, we'll refund you — just email us. Full details: Refund policy.
Your content and ours
Your palm photo stays yours. By uploading it, you give us permission to process it for the purpose of generating your reading and to store it briefly for support (see our Privacy Policy). The reading we generate for you is yours to keep, share, and screenshot for personal use.
The fateline name, brand, and product, and the Momentra name and brand, remain ours. All content on this site — including text, images, graphics, logos, and software — is owned or licensed by Momentra Technologies Private Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Don't repackage the service, reproduce our content without written consent, or pass our outputs off as your own product.
Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Accessing those links is at your own risk.
Disclaimers
fateline is for entertainment only. Palm reading and tarot are not science. Do not make serious life decisions — about your health, finances, relationships, career, education, or anything else — based on what your reading says.
The reading is AI-generated. The model is trained on a mix of Vedic and Western palmistry sources. It can be wrong, internally inconsistent, generic, or occasionally invent details that aren't there. We do our best to keep readings useful and coherent, but we cannot guarantee accuracy of any kind.
If you need real help, talk to a real person. For medical concerns, see a doctor. For financial decisions, talk to a qualified advisor. For mental health, reach out to a therapist or a crisis helpline. fateline is not any of those things.
fateline makes no warranties of any kind. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the readings are accurate, useful, or fit for any particular purpose, or that the site will always be available, secure, or free from errors. We expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Momentra Technologies Private Limited, fateline, and their team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service or from any decision you make based on your reading — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the reading or service in question.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Momentra Technologies Private Limited and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the website or your violation of these Terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the latest version. Changes take effect when posted on this page. If we make material changes, we'll notify existing users before they take effect. We recommend checking this page periodically.
Governing law
For users in India: These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from or relating to these terms, your use of the website, or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tonk, Rajasthan, India.
For users outside India: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized neutral arbitration provider, in the English language, under that provider's rules. The arbitration will take place in Delaware or via remote video conference at the arbitrator's discretion.
You and Momentra Technologies Private Limited each waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action against the other. This waiver does not bar you from pursuing claims in small-claims court if your claim qualifies. Nothing in this section bars either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
Where local consumer protection laws give you stronger rights that cannot be waived by contract (such as in some EU/UK jurisdictions), those rights are preserved and these terms do not limit them.
